PORTABLE EV CHARGER for charging electric vehicles with Type 2 sockets from any standard home or public wall socket (230V power source) – supports charging with currents up to 16A (up to 3.7 kW charging power).

NOTEIn case you choose the vesion without RCD, it is allowed to use it exclusively on the installations protected by RCD [1]

    • Ensures SAFE charging with high currents (16A)

    • Terminates charging in case it gets too hot
    • Over-temperature is indicated via fast blinking blue LED on EV plug
    • Automatically resumes charging when it cools down
    • How it works: in case of bad quality wall socket that causes excessive heat generation this plug is able to detect that and disconnect charging. When this happens the blue LED light on the EV plug starts blinking fast. When everything cools down charging is automatically resumed.
  • Ground fault protection device – 30mA RCD (should be used if there is no 30mA RCD protection behind the wall socket/in-house electrical installation)

RCD: A residual-current device (RCD), or residual-current circuit breaker (RCCB), is a device that quickly breaks an electrical circuit to prevent serious harm from an ongoing electric shock. Injury may still occur in some cases, for example if a human falls after receiving a shock, or if the person touches both conductors at the same time
