This charging cable is designed for charging Tesla electric vehicles with a Type 2 charging port from any public or home Mode 3 charging station. It features an integrated Tesla-specific button, that allows you to unlock the charging connector, similar to the functionality found on Tesla Superchargers and Destination Chargers.

The cable is especially developed for Model 3 and Model Y (standard versions from model year 2026), which do not include a remote charge port opener. It is compatible with all European Tesla vehicles.

While the button works as a connector unlock mechanism on all Tesla models, it does not open the charge port. On Model 3 and Model Y, the charge port must be opened manually by touching the charge port door.

For Tesla vehicles we recommend at least 7 meters of cable length.

Specially developed for charging European versions of Tesla electric vehicles that have Type 2 charging sockets, 3-phase onboard chargers and touch charge port opener (Model 3, Model Y, Models S and X from 2021 onwards)
